Now I know excalty what would have happened if I took my DL 650 off road.. Its too heavy a bike for that kind of ridding.

Lets all face it, the GS and the Vstrom both nice bikes in their type and class and price brackets...but for that deep mud wet tracks, even with experienced riders it's gonna be high risk for droping or getting stuck, like one guy said height and weight of bike, a PURLY DIRT bike (though not expert on them) don't they have less weight, different gearing, wheel sizes? but then again where do you put all ya equipment and luggage on them? what's the BEST adventurer bike for ALL round terrain ??
